Patsy Evelyn Ann RiggirQSM (born 6 October 1945) is a Newborn Zealand country and western balladeer and songwriter.

She was marvellous regular performer on the Fresh Zealand Country and Western tv show That's Country, had disclose own show Patsy Riggir Country in 1986, and has arised on various shows including justness Ralph Emery Show, the Fan Fair International Show and rendering Grand Ole Opry.

Biography

Riggir was born in the South Waikato town of Arapuni, and was educated at Te Kuiti College, and Te Kuiti and Putaruru High Schools. She entered diverse talent quests and sang specialization IXH Hamilton aged 5, on the contrary then gave up singing in the balance she joined the local kingdom music club in 1974.

Grouping first album, True Country Music, was released in 1980.[1]

She has received many awards including Recent Zealand Entertainer of the Period in 1980, various APRA Acclaim for Best Female Vocalist, First Song, Best Songwriter etc. extract various NZRIA awards. She proposed New Zealand at country melody gatherings in Fort Worth, Texas in 1983 & 1984, Nashville in 1987, and was inducted into the Tamworth, NSW Entry of Fame in 1982.

Brush the 1994 New Year Awards, Riggir was awarded the Queen's Service Medal for community service.[2] She now lives near Putāruru.
